This Heart of Roses Applique Quilt measures  94 x 105 inches to fit your Queen or Double bed.  It was handquilted by Anna K, an Amish quilter in South Central Pennsylvania. There are approximately 6 handquilted stitches  per inch on this Amish Quilt.  On the back of this purple, burgundy and green Amish quilt, Anna has her initials, AK, embroidered.

I love to bake and I love to quilt, says Anna, an Amish quilter from Pennsylvania.  She and her husband live in the smaller Dawdy house, connected to her sons larger home, and now her husband helps out the son in the home-based business he started years before the son was even born.  Cottage industries  are a chosen lifestyle of the Amish, and Anna helps supplement the family income by quilting everyday.  Her quilt frame is never empty, and her home is always filled with warmth and joy and happy grandchildren.
